Frequently Asked Questions

Am I guaranteed to get approved for a card after visiting your office?

We can’t guarantee approval for anyone. The doctor makes the final determination whether or not a patient qualifies. To make it more likely that you receive approval from the doctor, we strongly recommend that you bring as much information as possible to your appointment regarding your medical condition and past treatments (Medical records and or report).

If I qualify will I leave the office with a medical card?

No, cards are issued by the state of Ohio.  You are registered with the state of Ohio and must activate your card for a $50 fee once the State emails you.

Is it true that if I have a card I can not have a Concealed Carry License?

Yes, this is the state law.
